Apparently parachutes don't open and crush people.
As reported by Al Jazeera this Friday, at least five people died after several humanitarian aid boxes were dropped from planes in the Gaza Strip.
Many of the cargo-dropping parachutes did not open, causing the boxes to fall onto the crowd of people waiting for help.
“This is the tragedy of the people of northern Gaza. Not only do they face shortages of food and medical supplies, but they are targeted by the Israeli army while waiting for food packages or killed by a malfunctioning parachute,” commented Hani Mahmoud, Al Jazeera correspondent in Rafah.
