“All citizens in Kherson should leave the city immediately,” the pro-Russian administration of the Kherson region wrote in an announcement on its Telegram account this Saturday (10/22/2022). “Citizens of Kherson and all subdivisions and ministries of the civil administration must cross the left bank of the Dnieper today,” he added, “due to the tense situation at the front, the increased risk of massive shelling of the city and the threat of terrorist attacks.

“Take care of the safety of your family and friends! Don’t forget documents, money, valuables and clothes,” said the pro-Russian, from which the evacuation process began on Wednesday. Two people were killed in Ukrainian attacks on the Russian region of Belgorod, which borders Ukraine, its governor Vyacheslav Klatkov said in a telegram.
