In perfectly normal news, Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg and Twitter owner Elon Musk might be locked in a high-profile fight.
It all started with Musk’s June 20 reply to Twitter mocking Zuckerberg, which read, “I’m ready for a cage match if it’s lol.” The crack was in response to a user who said Zuckerberg “does ju-jitsu.” [sic] Now,” referring to his recent medal at the Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Championships.
On Wednesday night, Zuckerberg responded on his own platform, Instagram, by posting a story that included a screenshot of the tweet and responded with “Send Me Location.”
diverse Meta reached out about Zuckerberg’s letter, and a spokesperson confirmed that “the story speaks for itself.”
Meanwhile, Musk isn’t cringing, responding with “Vegas Octagon,” apparently in response to Zuckerberg’s location request. “I have this great move I call the ‘walrus,’ where I lie on top of my opponent and do nothing,” Musk tweeted.
On May 6, Zuckerberg Instagram took over With photos from his fight day, he wrote, “Competed in my first jiu jitsu tournament and won some medals for Team Guerrilla Jiu Jitsu. Thanks to davecamarillokhaiwuense0ne for coaching me!”
Meanwhile, Musk has been in the news for ceding some of his power over Twitter to new CEO Linda Iaccarino.
