A man left his child blind to sleep

Gabriel, a 41-year-old father, severely beat his four-month-old baby and blinded him for not letting him sleep.

On the night of May 20, 2022, the child’s father started crying, and around two in the morning, the man sent several messages to his partner, saying he didn’t know what to do. Had to rest.

After all this, almost a year later, the father recently admitted in court that he mistreated his son, slapped him on the face and additionally grabbed one of his arms and shook him violently.

Severe consequences

The child was taken to hospital, where it was confirmed that he had sustained serious injuries “False Head Injury”.

The child had bruises on his cheeks, near his ears, and on his neck.

Internally, they found subdural hematomas, severe bilateral hemorrhagic retinopathy, and severe encephalopathy with epileptic seizures. In turn, it is recognized as 81% disabled and dependent II or severe.
