Apart from the gun and gun cartridges, four 9 mm guns and two tactical weapons were recovered.
In a police operation in San Martín de Porres, the Police Robbery Investigation Unit (PNP) intervened in an extortion bunker and managed to capture a criminal gang.
Five people were arrested in the operation, which took place on the second floor of a company in the Caquetá market, a house rented for six months for allegedly coordinating the crimes.
Money bags, note books and bladed weapons were seized from the spot. According to the police hypothesis, this criminal gang would indulge in extortion and its victims would be businessmen working in the area.
After attempting to flee, the five accused criminals, three Venezuelans and two Peruvians, were apprehended by law enforcement officials and are already being prosecuted.

General Commander of the PNP Jorge Angulo said the place also served as a hub for criminal activities related to hired killers, extortion and illegal possession of firearms.
“These people are stationed with a cache of guns. “They used technology like drones to get out here and, perhaps, in collusion with their informants, delivering precise and violent blows against civilians,” Angulo said.
“Los Indestructibles de Grau” bunker had a big screen, pool tables, artificial grass, basketball courts, a bar and a swimming pool, among other amenities.
They also found four 9-mm guns and two tactical weapons, as well as gun and gun cartridges. As the police find the drone, the images and videos will be subjected to forensic examination to extract them.
In a police operation in the hands of the Directorate of Criminal Investigation (Drinkiri), two vehicles were seized.
