The discovery of cocaine forced him out of the White House

Local media reported on Tuesday that after a small unit of the White House found a “small amount of white powder” last Sunday, it turned out to be cocaine after a preliminary examination.

The US Secret Service is investigating what happened when President Joe Biden was away from his official residence.

“On Sunday night, the White House compound was placed on lockdown as Secret Service Uniformed Services officers investigated an unknown item found in the workplace,” Secret Service spokesman Anthony Guglielmi said.

The DC Fire Department ordered an evacuation and “quickly determined that the item was not hazardous.” He was sent for “further evaluation” and “pending an investigation into his motive and how he entered the White House,” the official said.

Guglielmi would not say where the White House found the material or how it was packaged.

Uniformed Secret Service agents discovered it while conducting routine surveillance rounds of the building.
