Roslyn Singleton of America’s Got Talent dies at 39

Heartbreaking: Roslyn Singleton passed away at the age of 39 on Wednesday, her husband Ray confirmed on Instagram the next day

Roslyn Royal Singleton passed away at the age of 39 on Tuesday, her husband Ray confirmed on Instagram.

He says the Navy veteran died “sleeping peacefully in the house where she wanted to be” and earned her “wings”.

The beauty from North Carolina has been battling brain cancer for the second time and often shares her journey on social media. She was first diagnosed in 2013 and then went into remission for six years before another tumor was discovered in 2019.

Best known for appearing on America’s Got Talent in support of her singer husband, the artist also appeared on the talk show Ellen for which she was paid $25,000.

He shared a post on Instagram of his late wife.

Singleton was first diagnosed with an aggressive form of brain cancer in 2013.

The star was disease-free by the time the couple met in 2016 and got married in 2018.

Tragically, in October 2019, Singleton received a second diagnosis.

But Singleton said in 2020 that her husband “makes things right.”

Singleton was in the Navy and served as an Executive Administrative Assistant in Afghanistan.

She began to feel bad when her mother died and her father was diagnosed with cancer.

Roslyn got a headache and heard the crashing of the sea.

“At first, I thought it was pressure,” Roslyn recalls. But the pain didn’t go away and you started seeing blobs.

“I’d lie down to go to sleep and…do you know how to put a seashell up to your ear and you can hear the ocean?” She said. “I could hear the ocean when I lay down.”

I went to another doctor and learned she had brain cancer which resulted in several cases Surgeries and treatments but her cancer has gone to the stage 4 Glioblastoma (GBM).

She also spoke about her faith. “I think God is really great and He’s been really great in my life, and I know He’s in control of everything,” Roslyn said.

In 2020, her husband made headlines when he sang beautifully to comfort his wife.

Ray found the tear-jerking method to comfort his wife, Roslyn, after her second diagnosis.

The adorable video – which was first shared on Instagram – emerged as a way for Singleton to calm his fears and keep busy while his wife had her second brain surgery.

The clip went viral, garnering more than 17 million views, and caught the attention of Grammy-nominated singer Daniel Caesar.

In the clip, Mr. Singleton plays the piano and sings Caesar’s Get You.

His wife smiled as he sang: “Every time I look into your eyes I see her. You are all I need. Every time I go in for a little bit I feel like it.

He caresses Singleton’s face with his own as he sings: “Oh, who would have thought I’d get you. Oh, who’d have thought I’d get you.”

talking on WSOCTV.comSingleton said, “For me, cancer is a blessing, because it’s my way of telling people that no matter what it is, it’s going to be OK.”

Mr Singleton added: “She’s told the pastor and God in front of so many people, ‘I’m with her through sickness and health,’ and that’s just part of that.” ”
