He notes that armed insurrection provokes strong rejection in Russian society and that “adventurous ambitions of the conspirators are basically aimed at destabilizing the situation in Russia, destroying unity and undermining Russia’s efforts to reliably ensure international security.”
The Russian company assured that such attempts were futile and would have no repercussions either in Russia or in sensible political forces abroad.
“We firmly believe that a solution worthy of the age-old wisdom of the Russian people and the Russian state will soon be found. All the goals and objectives of the special military operation will be fulfilled,” the ministry stressed.
According to the statement, Russia will pursue its sovereign course to guarantee its security, strengthen its authority on the international stage and “establish a multilateral world order”.
It also emphasizes that Moscow greatly appreciates the understanding of this principled position by its foreign allies and partners.
On June 23, the country’s Federal Security Service (FSB) opened a criminal case against Evgeny Prigozhin, head of the Wagner Group, for attempted armed insurrection, citing a growing threat on Russian territory.

The agency also assured that Russian armed forces “continue to carry out their combat tasks in the line of communication with Ukrainian troops in the area of special military operations.”
On the morning of June 24, security measures were strengthened in various regions of Russia. In addition, according to the National Anti-Terrorism Committee of Russia, a regime of anti-terrorist measures was imposed in Moscow and the Moscow region, as well as in the Voronezh region, to prevent possible terrorist attacks.
