A Missouri woman with a history of robbing two banks was arrested again Wednesday for the same crime she allegedly attempted to rob a financial institution in Pleasant Hill, Fox News reported Thursday.
Police officers responded to a call, en route to the bank, and were given a description of the suspect and his vehicle.
She, identified as 78-year-old Bonnie Gooch, was taken into custody without incident. It was later revealed that he had a criminal background, having been arrested for bank robberies in 1977 and 2020.
In 2020, at the age of 75, he was sentenced to prison but given probation, which expired in 2021.
On that occasion, like on this last occasion, he used the tactic of handing employees a note, police said.
