A spokesman for the Russian Foreign Ministry recalled that in its analysis, the Moscow military immediately destroyed biological weapons laboratories in Ukraine after they were destroyed, recalling that “on March 8, US Undersecretary of State Victoria Nuland acknowledged that the United States and Ukraine are cooperating on pathogens.” He said.

“In 2016, the spread of swine flu was detected among the Ukrainian military guarding the biological laboratory in Kharkov, 20 people died. The incident was covered up,” Zazarova explained.

For its part, the Russian government Duma adopted a resolution on March 24 to launch a parliamentary inquiry into the circumstances surrounding the creation of biological laboratories by US experts in the territory of Ukraine.

State Duma Chairman Vyacheslav Volodin said that the Commission would inform all the conditions for the establishment of biological laboratories in the territory of Ukraine, and explained that the Federal Council (Senate, Upper House) was “ready” to support this initiative.
