In case you missed it, a Nintendo Switch might have been added Game Boy titles serving online in the near future.

After the initial ‘leak’, the list of games that have apparently been tested for the online service has now been shared by a Twitter user and data selector. Mondomega. The games highlighted in yellow in the list below were supposed to be in the ROM folder “at some point” but did not appear in the leaked build of the Game Boy Advance emulator codenamed “Sloop”.

The same source also explains how only these games were “tested”. In other words, there is no guarantee that they will all necessarily receive a release in the future – even if a GBA service is announced.

As you can see, there are all kinds of GBA classics mentioned like The Legend of Zelda: The Minish CapAnd Metroid FusionAnd Mario Kart: Super CircuitAnd F-Zero: Top Speedand the wonderful golden sun games.

While there isn’t much to talk about about Game Boy and Game Boy Color emulations – codenamed “Hiyoko”, it’s clear that the GBC titles will run as separate apps. Those that have been monitored so far include Super Mario LandAnd The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening DXAnd tetris And Qix.

“There’s not much to talk about with GB(C). The Hiyoko layout we have here is in an older state than Sloop; each game is a separate app and there are only four of them: Super Mario Land, Link’s Awakening DX, and Tetris, Qix”
