The Puebla group confirmed on Wednesday that former Honduran President Manuel Zello had joined the group in a bid to strengthen unity in the region.

Zelaya thanked Gesture on his Twitter account, where he announced that he had joined the group: “The Puebla group with personalities from Lloyd America, the Caribbean and Spain is inviting me and I have agreed to join. Thank you, ”he wrote.
In this way, Zelaya joins nine former presidents and two active presidents who are part of the leading groups of progressive thought in Latin America.
In its report, the Puebla Group served as Deputy Minister of Honduras from 2006 to 2009, as well as Minister of the National Congress (2014-2018) Honduran Community Investment Fund (1994-1998). )
