Anyone who watched this week’s “SmackDown LowDown” noticed Elton Prince of Pretty Deadly sporting a sling, as seen in the video WWE released on its YouTube channel:
As it turns out, he wasn’t just selling the injury from their match against The Brawling Brutes Friday Night SmackDown In Raleigh, North Carolina this week. according to PW from the insidePrince suffered a separated shoulder.
An injury like this can take as little as two weeks and up to a few months to heal.
For his part, Ridge Holland took to Twitter to try and defend himself against anyone who wrongly accuses him of injury:
The timing is shocking, considering the tag team has been in the midst of showing up for a bit smack down every week. It’s clear that the powers that be the duo think highly of.
It probably could still be used on television while Prince recovers, but either way, it’s a tough break. We hope he recovers sooner rather than later.
