Jay-Z now has his own gallery at the Brooklyn Public Library

An exhibition dedicated to Jay-Z opens this week at the Brooklyn Public Library.

Hof book It is a temporary exhibition in the central branch of the library. It was described as including “thousands of archived items, including original recording masters, never-before-seen photos, iconic stage wear, prestigious awards, and certificates of recognition, plus videos and artifacts from every aspect of Jay-Z’s career.”

The description adds: “The multimedia exhibition explores the global impact of Jay-Z as a musician, innovator, entrepreneur and philanthropist.

Our goal with Hof book The tribute show, is to offer a behind-the-scenes look at a Hall of Fame songwriter and author, successful entrepreneur, and philanthropist who never forgot the lessons he learned on the road to success. and the town where his journey began.”

Before the gallery opens on Friday (July 14), the front of the building featured lyrics by the rapper, while the gallery also houses a recreation of Baseline Studio, the room where Jay-Z recorded some of his work. The most famous albums.
