ConcordIt looks like Sony’s next big streaming service video game will cost $40 according to the pre-order page on the PlayStation Store in Australia. This puts it in the same price range Hell Divers 2 This appears to be another sign that not all Sony’s live service titles will be free-to-play Destiny 2.

Concordthe first game from Firewalk Studioswas first announced in 2023 During a big PlayStation showcase. This initial trailer didn’t show much, and many have probably forgotten about it by then State of Play event on May 30, an online shooter that started off the whole show with a somewhat generic cinematic look and some gameplay that didn’t quite work online. During the event, we learned that the game is a live-service 5v5 hero shooter set in a new sci-fi universe. And now we know that Sony’s new FPS will (most likely) cost $40.

As spotted Indoor games On June 5The PlayStation Store page in Australia has gone live and revealed a price Concord The basic edition and its special deluxe edition. The standard version will cost 60 Australian dollars, or about 40 US dollars. This version only includes Concorde and nothing else. Play Station

Concordwhich is scheduled to launch on August 23 for PC and PS5, appears to follow similar gameplay rules to Hell Divers 2, Sony’s massive hit earlier this year.

The online sci-fi co-op shooter also retailed for $40 and also launched on PC and PS5 as well. Sony seems to be hoping the lower price point will entice more gamers to give live-action shooting a shot. We also hope that this means that the game won’t be filled with a bunch of nonsense and free grinding, which is something Divers Mostly avoided since launch.

Of course, I’ve already seen some people shocked that Sony is charging money for this Concord At all, this is not surprising Considering the reaction the game got online. It also appears, As revealed by A Different a leakThe real star of last week’s PlayStation event—astro bot, Launching later this year-It will likely cost around $60 to $70. Keep in mind that none of these prices have been verified by Sony yet or confirmed for the US versions of either game. Things can change.
