NCAA Tournament games, scores and results: Follow the March Madness action live stream on Saturday

The Sweet 16 continues Saturday on the women's side and two teams will punch first tickets to the Final Four on the men's side.

We have another roster packed with six games and plenty of stars. Iowa State's Kaitlyn Clark and UConn's Paige Bueckers are both back on the court and looking to extend their teams' NCAA Tournament runs. On the men's side, top-seeded UConn's run toward another title continues as Alabama and Clemson meet in a surprise Elite Eight matchup.

Get ready for another fun day of college hoops.

Saturday sweet 16 schedule

Women's table (All Eastern times):

1 PM – No. 2 UCLA vs. No. 3 LSU (ABC)

3:30 p.m. – No. 1 Iowa vs. No. 5 Colorado (ABC)

5:30 PM – No. 1 USC vs. No. 5 Baylor (ESPN)

8 p.m. – No. 3 UConn vs. No. 7 Duke (ESPN)

Men's schedule:

6:09 PM – No. 1 UConn vs. No. 3 Illinois (TBS)

8:49 p.m. – No. 4 Alabama vs. No. 6 Clemson (TBS)

  • Colorado is doing everything it can to try to keep up with Iowa's machine-like offense.

    The Hawkeyes led 36-26 midway through the second quarter.

  • Kaitlyn Clark ended the first quarter with another dime, her sixth of the game, and Hannah Stolke finished it off to give the Hawkeyes a 22-14 lead.

  • Clarke is already up to four assists within five minutes. She hits Sydney Affolter and Hannah Stoelke in two cameo appearances. Affolter is tied with Clark on four points and continues to be with Iowa in the absence of fifth-year starting guard Molly Davis. Davis was warming up on the sideline with a small brace on her knee during the 10-minute practice open to the media on Friday, but she was inactive. Iowa State coach Lisa Bluder said she was anticipating her return now and is unsure of the timeline for a return.

  • Good pace and lots of shots to start this game. Iowa jumps ahead 15-7 early.

    Kaitlyn Clark already has 4 points and 4 assists.

  • We don't have to get ahead of ourselves here, but no matter which team wins the next game, it's going to be a very tough rematch with a spot in the Final Four on the line.

    If Iowa wins, it will be Iowa vs. LSU as a rematch in 2023. LSU shut down everyone around Caitlin Clark to win the championship.

    If Colorado wins, Colorado's matchup against LSU will be a rematch of the season opener. Colorado surprised the Tigers, who loaded up an already talented roster with transfers and took No. 1 Las Vegas. LSU never regained the No. 1 spot in the Associated Press rankings.

  • The official Iowa-Colorado notification is at 3:54 PM ET. Judging by the roar before Iowa State came out of the tunnel, it's going to be a see-saw here.

  • UCLA's season ends before the Elite Eight reaches

    If UCLA had made some early shots, this game could have looked a lot different. Head coach Corey Close made no excuses when asked about it earlier this weekend, but the Bruins have had one of the toughest trips to come out of Los Angeles. Their plane was delayed and they had to stop for refueling in Kansas City. By the time they got to the hotel and went to bed, the players said it was about 12:45 a.m. ET. Then they turned around and had to eat breakfast by 7:45 a.m. to practice.

    One of the difficulties facing these eight-team super regionals is the fit of all teams for practices, media availability, meals, etc. before games begin in the afternoon time slots. The days are very busy for everyone. Of course, UCLA will have to get used to this kind of travel. The Bruins' run in the Pac-12 is officially over. UCLA is headed to the Big Ten exhibition next year.

  • Final: LSU 78, UCLA 69

    The No. 3 Tigers cruised to victory over No. 2 UCLA in a very exciting game from start to finish. Flau'jae Johnson was the hero for LSU with 24 points and 12 rebounds and every game looked big down the stretch. The defending champions advance to the Elite Eight, where they will face the winner of Iowa-Colorado.

  • The Tigers now lead by 7 with 12.7 seconds remaining.

  • Angel Reese fouled out with 31 seconds left. She said something to the UCLA bench on her way off the court and coach Corey Close was furious about it.

  • Hayley Van Lith hits both free throws and the Tigers lead by 6.

  • And a foul by UCLA on the other end! He might do it here unless a miracle happens. The Tigers will go to the foul line already with four.

  • Flau'jae Johnson with the scoop to give the Tigers a four-point lead!

  • Lauren Bates hits the front end and misses on the second.

  • Anissa Morrow was whistled for a foul on UCLA's Bates as she was making a layup. Two shots ahead.

  • The Bruins had the ball by 3 points.

  • The Tigers lead 68-67 with less than two minutes left in the game.

  • What a play by UCLA's Lauren Bates. Kim Mulkey is beside herself.

  • Now Lauren Bates has four fouls, as does LSU's Aaliyah Del Rosario. This may come down to who can stay on Earth the longest.
