The historic coronation of King Charles III begins on May 6th at 10am BST in the UK at 5am EST / 2am PST in the US Every major UK and US network will have live coverage of the event, which you can watch Directly in the lower built-in player.

Itinerary

The first coronation in seven decades will see Charles and Queen Consort Camilla move the monarch’s procession from Buckingham Palace to Westminster Abbey. There will then be a service during which the official coronation takes place, starting at 10:20am BST (2:20am PT)

King Charles III will be formally crowned, and his wife, Camilla, will become Queen Camilla during the ceremony. King Charles technically became monarch upon the death of his mother, Queen Elizabeth II, in September, but the coronation — the first in the United Kingdom since 1953 — would make it official. Camilla has been queen consort since the death of Queen Elizabeth II, but she will be called simply Queen Camilla from this weekend onwards.

Later, the newly crowned king and queen will greet the crowds from the balcony of Buckingham Palace for six minutes while dozens of military aircraft fly by.
