It’s official. Billions It will end with its next seventh season.
Showtime confirmed Thursday that the seventh season will be the last for the hit drama, and announced a premiere date. The first episode will air on Paramount+ with Showtime on Friday, August 11, before going on air at 8 p.m. on Sunday, August 13, on Showtime. Subsequent episodes will be released on a weekly basis.
Series star Dan Souder previously let the slip slip during an appearance on NBC Sports Chicago’s Football night That the seventh season will be the last, Showtime confirmed it today.

As previously reported, Emmy winner Damian Lewis will return for the 12-episode final season as fan-favorite Bobby Axelrod, joining series stars Paul Giamatti, Corey Stoll, and Maggie Siff.

According to Showtime’s official description: In Season 7, alliances are turned upside down. Old wounds are healed. Loyalties are tested. Betrayal takes on epic proportions. Enemies become wary friends. And Bobby Axelrod returns, as stakes grow from Wall Street into the world.
Billions It also stars David Costabile, Asia Kate Dillon, Dolla Rashad, Jeffrey Dimon, Sakina Jaffrey, Daniel Brecker and Tony Goins.
As mentioned earlier, Showtime has several spin-offs in the works, including Millions, trillions and series set in Miami and London, all executive produced Billions Creators Brian Kopelman and David Levian. Paul Schiff will also implement new projects in the franchise.
Billions It was created and executive produced by Koppelman and Levien. Beth Schacter also serves as showrunner and executive producer. The series was also created by Andrew Ross Sorkin.
All previous seasons are available to Paramount+ subscribers with Showtime.
