The Ministry of Defense has pointed out that the crimes of Clan del Golfo, also known as Colombia’s Kaitanista Defense Forces (AGC), led to the killing of three civilians, a police officer and two soldiers.
Clan del Golfo’s “arms strike” began last Thursday and lasted until a day before its top boss, Dairo Antonio suga, handed over alias “Otoniel” to the United States.
The group has been in various parts of Colombia, moving in military-carried caravans, but has controlled trade, vehicles and people on highways, and threatening attacks on road users.
