AMD has now released the B650 series mid-range motherboards for the Ryzen 7000 series
B650 and B650E motherboards are now available starting at $160 in the US.
There’s no sign of the promised $125 AMD AM5 motherboards yet, but prices for the B650-series already start well below the premium X670. The cheapest panels have an MSRP of $159, but the majority of designs hover around $200, which may still be pricey for most users.
The B650 and B650E series target hex-core Ryzen 5 7600X and 8-core Ryzen 7 7700X CPUs, available for $299 and $399, respectively. However, the entry point for the AMD AM5 platform is now $450, and there are no cheaper CPUs or motherboards on the horizon.
Newegg reportedly lists the AMD B650 motherboards at MSRP, the cheapest at $169.99, except that it won’t be available until late October. Other B650 designs start at $199.99, but are available right away.

according to Hassan Mojtaba from your sufficiencyGigabyte will offer the B650M DS3H motherboard for as low as $159.99, but that design hasn’t been listed by Newegg yet. The most expensive B650 motherboard currently appears to be the ASRock Taichi, which is only $50 cheaper than the X670E Taichi.
When it comes to other stores, the more affordable AMD B650 motherboards at BestBuy and MicroCenter are $229.99. Interestingly enough, the following offerings are the only B650 motherboards listed on both stores.
