April 16 (Reuters) – The Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud division of Amazon.com (AMZN.O) said Sunday that its services have recovered from an issue in which AWS users were unable to complete the sign-up process and were receiving error messages regarding the billing console. Their own.

“The registration page has been recovered and customers can now access and complete the account,” AWS said in their status.
Hundreds of users reported problems accessing Amazon Web Services on Sunday, according to outage tracking website Downdetector.com.
Downdetector tracks outages by compiling status reports from several sources, including user-submitted errors on its platform.
Separately, Amazon’s voice assistant Alexa was also down for thousands of users in the US, according to Downdetector.com. Downdetector data showed that more than 16,000 users reported issues with Alexa at the peak of the disruption, which later dropped to 700.
Users have also reported issues accessing the Amazon mobile app.
