Xbox Game Pass May 2022: Journey to Yomi, Sniper Elite 5, Loot River, and more

Xbox revealed a new batch of upcoming games Xbox Game Pass in May. This includes Day One launch games on the service such as Trek to Yomi, Sniper Elite 5, and Hardspace: Shipbreaker.

Other games hitting the service this month include Loot River, NHL 22, Danganronpa 2, Floppy Knights, Pacman Museum+ and more. But, this is only the first wave of games coming to Xbox Game Pass in May, and another batch is expected to be revealed around the middle of the month. For now, here’s everything coming so far for Game Pass this month.

Trek to Yomi is available on Game Pass starting May 5

Trek to Yomi is a cinematic action-adventure game inspired by the legendary Japanese filmmaker Akira Kurosawa. It comes out May 5, and will be available at launch on Xbox Game Pass for console, cloud, and PC.

Loot River is available on Xbox Game Pass now

The first game to hit Xbox Game Pass this month is Loot River, a procedurally generated crawler that combines real-time combat and spatial block shifting. It’s also one of the many games that have been awarded a “Souls-like” label on their Steam roster.

Everything coming to Xbox Game Pass in May 2022 (so far)

As we all know, Xbox likes to announce monthly Game Pass bundles in two separate waves. The list below includes all the games we already know will be coming to Xbox Game Pass in May 2022, along with the new entries announced recently.

We’re also expecting Assassin’s Creed: Origins and For Honor: Marching Fire Edition to hit service sometime in May or June, so stay tuned for more information soon. Expect another wave of games to be announced around the middle of the month.

Everything leaving the Xbox game passes this month

Here’s everything Xbox confirmed leaving Xbox Game Pass in May. This includes Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas – the definitive edition that will leave service on May 10. All other games listed will be leaving on May 15th instead.
