Another update has emerged regarding the possibility of WWE Superstars being eliminated from their match at WrestleMania 40 next weekend.
Earlier today, it was reported that there is planned to be a “meeting” within WWE about removing Austin Theory and Grayson Waller from their tag team title ladder match at WrestleMania.
Theory and Waller qualified for SmackDown two nights ago by defeating Street Profits.
Now, there is another update to the ladder match. Dave Meltzer — who initially broke the news about the meeting to potentially take down Waller's theory — is out now Reports preparation:
The only thing from last week's lineup was that Pretty Deadly was included in the tag team ladder match.
It's unclear exactly what this will ultimately mean, but it appears that Pretty Deadly was scheduled to participate in the match at least at some point, and now WWE is considering getting rid of Theory and Waller.
Pretty Deadly beat Randy Orton and Kevin Owens on SmackDown, so that's obviously a big result.
We will keep you informed of any further updates. Elsewhere in Mania card news, Meltzer reported that plans called for Karrion Kross & Authors of Pain vs Bobby Lashley & Street Profits to be added to the Philadelphia Street Fight game.
