NYXI, the manufacturer of gaming peripherals, recently announced a new third-party console for the Nintendo Switch. The design isn’t just reminiscent of the WaveBird — aka Nintendo’s best controller ever — but the company claims this controller will never get a Joy-Con drift.
Ready？ NYXI WIZARD combines the retro look of the NGC Long Range Controller with a more ergonomic design and works perfectly with any Nintendo Switch console.

the NYXI Wizard Wireless Joy-Pad It is a wireless controller that features a range of customizations, including two remapping back buttons, as well as interchangeable joystick rings. You can, for example, use a round joystick to play racing games or put an octagonal joystick circle on the console when you’re about to play a fighting game. NYXI claims about 6.5 hours of battery life on a single full charge.
One of the Wizard Controller’s biggest selling points is the claim that it won’t suffer from Joy-Con drift. NYXI claims it can achieve this because the processor uses a Hall Effect joystick. For quick context, Hall Effect joysticks use a magnetic system which means the joystick never actually touches the sensor itself. With Joy-Con drifting one of the biggest persistent issues with the Nintendo Switch, this console certainly appeals to those looking for a solution to this problem.
The NYXI processor is now available on the NYXI website and costs $69.
