The Sixth Week Eagles are ranked by location after the Cowboys are taken down

The Sixth Week Eagles are ranked by location after the Cowboys are taken down

The Eagles 6-0 head into farewell week after beating the Cowboys 26-17 at Sunday Night Football.

After jumping to a 20-0 lead, the Eagles fought a furious comeback to remain the only unbeaten team in the NFL.

quarterback

Jalen Hurts: 15/25, 155 yards, 2 TDs; 9 lunge attempts, 27 yards

No, you wouldn’t be surprised at 155 yards, but Hurts was pretty strong in this game after what was kind of a shaky start. He finished with a passer rating of 104.6 and threw a pair of touchdown passes. He didn’t have a big game on the floor but he did his part to lead the Eagles to victory.

running back

Miles Sanders: 18 attempts, 71 yards, 1 TD

Again, the numbers won’t amaze you. But Sanders had 71 yards, Kenny Ginwell had 25 yards, and Boston Scott had 16 yards. Everyone who ran the Eagles did their jobs when called, especially on that 7:37 run in the fourth quarter.

receiver

AJ Brown: 5 catches on 8 goals, 67 yards, 1 TD

In addition to Brown’s 67 yards and touchdowns, DeVonta Smith added 5 grabs for 44 yards and his own touchdown that came as a lead in the long fourth quarter drive.

tight end

Dallas Guedert: 2 catches on 5 goals, 22 yards

Goedert didn’t really start this game, posting his worst statistical performance of the season. But at least Jack Stoll got 21 yards, the longest in his career.

offensive line

With Lynne Johnson out, Jack Driscoll had a tough job stopping Micah Parsons. But in the end, the Eagles’ offensive line managed to command that late strike and protect Herz well enough to take that win. It wasn’t a perfect performance but that drive in fourth got them past the B position.

line of defense

Haason Reddick: One interference, two hits QB

This game was a great example of why bags don’t tell the whole story of Pass rush. The Eagles didn’t drop Cooper Rush to the ground once in this match, but their pressure on him definitely affected the match and helped the Eagles make three interceptions. Reddick had 2 QB hits and Brandon Graham had a hit in his first CJ Gardner-Johnson interception.

back

TJ Edwards: 14 Interventions 1 PBU

Edwards led the Eagles with 14 tackles and an early pass in coverage. Kyzir White also had a solid performance with 8 interventions and breakups of passes. White is known for his covering ability and speed, but he brought in an actual attendance on Sunday night. Probably Wyatt’s best match with the Pseudo Eagles.

B degree

secondary

CJ Gardner-Johnson: 4 pieces of ball, 2 intelligence, 2 PBU

This is a dangerous secondary. Everyone played this game. Of course, Gardner Johnson was the star with two interceptions, and as he came back from a hand injury for the second time. But James Bradbury was phenomenal in coverage and so was Darius Sly, who picked up another objection as well. Rush hadn’t thrown any interceptions all season and took the Eagles off him three times.

special teams

Jake Elliott: 2/2 in FGs, 2/2 in PATs

You start to worry about special teams. There seems to be a huge mistake every week and it will eventually cost them. He gave credit to Elliot, who nailed 51 Yards for his comeback. But the covering units gave up a lot in kicks and kicks. The 63-yard kick back couldn’t happen.

training

Record: 6-0

You can always think about training but the best indicator of their success is the fact that they keep finding ways to win these games even when it’s not pretty. And in regards to Sunday’s situational ball, Nick Siriani certainly outperformed Mike McCarthy.
