It’s official. Real Madrid has completed the signing of Turkish star Arda Guler, who signs a six-year contract with the club. Real Madrid will reportedly pay €20 million for the transfer. Guler will be presented in Valdebebas on Friday.
The attacking midfielder is 18 years old and is said to have been on the radar of many clubs in European football, including F.C.B or AC Milan. Güler is a very promising player who can be deployed on either wing, although it seems his natural place would be behind the striker.
At the moment, Güler will complete the pre-season with Real Madrid and after that the club will make a decision about his immediate future. The young jewel needs minutes to develop as a player and Real Madrid won’t want to waste a year by putting him on the bench, so a loan deal is likely if Guler can’t make an impact this season.
