As part of Netflix’s next take on animation, the first images, title and audio commentary for Aardman’s new film have been selected Wallace and Gromit The movie has been announced. The release date is winter 2025 on Netflix, but the film will be shown on the BBC at Christmas.
Titled, Wallace and Gromit: The Revenge of Most BirdsIn the new film directed by Nick Park and Merlin Crossingham, Gromit worries that Wallace has become too reliant on his inventions. Pallas ends up inventing an “intelligent” gnome who appears to develop a mind of his own. When it turns out that a vengeful figure from the past may be masterminding things, it’s up to Gromit to fight the evil forces and save his master… or Wallace may never be able to innovate again.
The voiceover cast includes Ben Whitehead, Peter Kay, Lauren Patel, Rhys Shearsmith, Diane Morgan, Adjoa Andoh, Muz Khan and Lenny Henry.
Richard Peck produces with a story by Park and Mark Burton. Burton wrote the screenplay.
