BMW recalls motorcycles for separation
BMW Recalls 1600 BMW Motorcycle Side Cases. The side case latch hooks may not be installed properly in the lock which could cause the cover to open. When this happens, the holster can detach from the motorcycle. If the box or lid comes off, items inside the box may fall out, posing a road hazard to oncoming motorists. As a result, this will increase the risk of an accident, according to the report NHTSA.
The recall case is designed to fit R1300 GS motorcycles, part number: 77 41 9 444 361/362.
Free of charge, dealers will repair the locking mechanism and hinges of the side boxes, and notification letters are expected to be delivered by May 13. Owners can contact BMW Customer Service at 1-800-525-7417.

Ford recalled for tire damage

Kia recalls the possibility of moving the vehicle
