First Reactions To Tom Cruise-Starring Movie Is Out – Deadline

Tom Cruise is back in theaters with the latest installment of Mission: Impossible And the initial reactions to the film after its world premiere in Rome at.

Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part 1 It is directed by Christopher McCary, who also co-wrote the film alongside Erik Gundersen. The film stars Hayley Atwell, Ving Rhames, Simon Pegg, Rebecca Ferguson, Vanessa Kirby and Henry Cherney.

Journalists attending the Italian premiere took to social media to chat about the action flick with Collider’s Perry Nemiroff calling it “another franchise winner.”

“Once again, the production value is through the roof with some of the most defining and dazzling set pieces shot in ways that make you feel like you’re right in the middle of the action. Focusing on capturing things on camera makes a huge difference, and you can feel it,” Nemiroff chirp.

Nemiroff also gave a shout-out to Atwell who “ended up being the main lead” to it adding“She can do it all. Action, comedy, a capable heroine in many respects while trying to put her sea legs in others. One of the most captivating shows/arcs, and a very fun character to watch.”

Uproxx writer Mike Ryan chirp His feelings about the latest installment of the Mission: Impossible Saying it “works like Christopher Macquarie’s ambitious/meditative examination of AI and the dangerous path we might go down. (He doesn’t like it)”.

Kate Erbland of IndieWire said The movie “does the best job yet” part 1 of 2!! Sounds like a movie of its own while preparing for the next half.

Eric Davis from Fandango He said “They had the best time watching.” Mission: Impossible Describing it as “a meticulously crafted action movie that never ceases to entertain. Every action sequence is long, crazy and intense. The story is big and sprawling, but I love how it feels complete and leaves you dying for what comes next.”

Germaine Lucier called from Gizmodo Dead reckoning part one “Awesome” and said the story was “dynamite” and “timely”. “Excellent new characters. Great variety of action and final set ranks 2-3 of the franchise’s all-time best”, Lussier added. “It gets a little dense at times but its speed and intensity more than cover that up.”

Josef Dikelmayr is also from Screenrant praised Atwill saying that she “steals every scene she’s in” and adding that “the action set my heart soaring”.
