In-game you can record any game at up to 4K resolution, though you'll need to check the settings to make sure you're recording at the optimal resolution. in Settings, go to preferences, then Capture and share. Here, you can change any of the settings you want to capture content, although you may be limited when trying to use full 4K HDR recording. Under Game Clips, you can change it to allow up to 30 seconds of post-action recording in 4K HDR. At 720p, you can record up to 3 minutes of gameplay after gameplay.

You can also set it up to automatically upload to the Xbox Network, your Microsoft account and your Xbox app, or to OneDrive. There's also an option to remap the Share button (the button located in a straight line below the Xbox button). You can set it to take a screenshot or video. In the game, if you want to access more functions, press the Xbox button, then go to Capture and share tab to access screen recordings.

You can share your gaming experience with your friends easily enough on Xbox, but you'll need to follow a few steps to get it into a usable state on your phone or computer. In the Capture and share Tab, go down to Final shots. Tap any clip you recently captured, then tap to lift. This should allow you to upload it to the Xbox network, and the clips should appear in your app in .MP4 format.
