Some undemocratic Helldivers 2 players are exploiting a glitch to gain Super Credits, and developer Arrowhead says it is “aware” of such “behaviour.”
Over the past day, a Helldivers 2 player took to the game's official Discord channel to report some mysterious dealings to Arrowhead. The player directly tagged Arrowhead's community manager, trying to alert him to the fact that “there are tutorials circulating on YouTube explaining how to get free Super Credits using a glitch in the game.”
The player didn't want to go into “explicit details” on how to do said farming, but still explained the method anyway. When a player earns Super Credits, they can either “Force Quit” Helldivers 2 on PC or shut down their PS5 console entirely. By doing this, the player allegedly keeps the super credits they have just earned.
“This issue should be fixed as soon as possible because it is an illegal method and, in the long run, not only harms serious players but also harms the development team,” the Discord user added in his message to the community. boss. “I hope you take my message seriously.”
In fact, Arrowhead took the message to heart. “Hey! We are aware of this undemocratic behavior. Thank you for doing your homework and reporting it. Woah!” Arrowhead's community manager responded shortly after the original message was sent in the Discord channel.
So rest assured that Arrowhead is working on this exploit, so no one has an undemocratic advantage over their Super Earth allies. There's no telling when a fix might arrive, and considering the Helldivers 2 developer is busy fixing the major fire damage issue, a fix might come later rather than sooner.
