A Manor Lords player spent more than 50 hours creating a city so large that it pushed the strategy game to its limits – a feat that “impressed” the game’s creator.
Redditor Busy-Shallot shared his amazing feat in the post embedded below, showcasing the largest city in Manor Lords I’ve seen browsing the web. The post read: “I have reached the destination of my journey, reaching 4,548 people in one area.”

The Manor Lord called this endeavor the “Slavic Project”, with the goal of having “the largest possible population in one area without food and fuel”. The project was a success – this city has the largest known population of Manor Lords to date – although the victory did not come without sacrifices as many NPCs were lost to winters without food or fuel.
However, stuffing multiple villagers into a single save file has its consequences. Instead of the unemployment and lack of space that usually follows densely populated areas, this city has made the game “no longer truly playable” and “path finding is practically non-existent.”
If you’re looking to beat or match the current record, the lead designer says he logged about 92 hours into the game and between 50 and 70 hours in the megacity above. “I hope someone can beat this record, then [they have] More memory,” the builder concludes.
Such a record even caught the attention of Greg Styczeń, the game’s (mostly) sole developer. “This is huge, I like it,” Syczeń Comment Before pledging to “continue working on improvement” so that people can continue to hoard villagers without any regret or delay.
Don’t worry, Manor Lords players, the game didn’t mean to name your town “Loserville” – it’s just a nod to Tarantino.
