Milwaukee – Brewers put their right hand Freddy Peralta On the 15-day infected list with a correct cross strain on Monday and closer situation Josh Hader On the family medical emergency list.
Milwaukee filled their places on the list by calling right-handers Trevor Kelly and Miguel Sanchez of Triple-A Nashville. The moves come as the Brewers begin an 11-game 10-day wild ride on Sunday in San Diego.
Peralta left the Brewers’ 8-2 loss to the Washington Nationals on Sunday in the fourth inning with a tightness in the upper area of ββhis shoulder. Manager Craig Consell said after Sunday’s game that Peralta will be listed as injured and will undergo an MRI on Monday.
“I was feeling it a little earlier, but it got worse in the half,” Peralta said after the match. “That’s why I decided to tell them and why I quit the game.”
Peralta, who turns 26 on June 4, is 3-2 with a 4.42 ERA and 50 strikes in 38 innings this season. He made the All-Star last year and went 10-5 with a 2.81 ERA and 195 strike action in 144β innings.
Hader, 28, who got off to a great run, allowed five walking runs, twice and no runs in 15 games. He hit 21 hits in rounds 13β . Opponents strike .045 against him.
The three-time All-Star converted 29 consecutive saves, the longest active streak in the majors. His last hit came on July 7 against the New York Mets.
