Two people were shot dead and several more were injured in a terrorist attack in Tel Aviv, Israel, Thursday night, according to authorities.
At least nine people were killed in the attack, and the victims were taken to Ichilov and Sheba Tel Hashomer Wolfson Hospitals, according to Magen David Adom, Israel’s National Emergency Medical Service. It was announced the death of two men, “about 30 years old” in Ichilov Hospital.
Three people in serious condition — a 20-year-old man, a 28-year-old woman and a 38-year-old man — are being treated for serious injuries, according to Medical Services. Four others are being treated for minor injuries.
Several other people at the scene were treated for “stress symptoms,” according to Magen David Adom.
No gunman was arrested. Israeli police said they were looking for one suspect.
Officials said there were “several” shootings on Dizengoff Street, Gordon Street and surrounding areas in Tel Aviv. Dizengoff Street is a main street running through Tel Aviv with many shops, bars and restaurants and would have been busy on a Thursday night.
