Zumtobel Group to Supply LED Lighting for New Football Stadium for Tottenham Hotspur Club

Zumtobel Group of Dornbirn, Austria, reported that it has been named the official lighting partner for the new North London stadium of football club Tottenham Hotspur. English Premier League football club Tottenham Hotspur commissioned the Zumtobel Group to design and create the lighting for its new stadium including the façade, the player facilities, the seating bowl, and the circulation concourse.

The sporting venue, which is scheduled to open in 2018, will host NFL American Football games, music concerts and a variety of other events. The Tottenham Hotspur team, which is known to many simply as “Spurs”, wants to create an unequalled fan experience inside its 61,559 seater stadium, the largest stadium of any London football club.

The club applies the same goal to the selection of the stadium’s lighting solution. The lighting solution blends vertical
and horizontal lighting. With the Zumtobel Group can leverage its acdc, Reiss, Thorn, Tridonic and Zumtobel brands.
