You heard that right! Key decision makers representing over 100 million+ square feet of commercial property in and around NYC turned out as part of this year's Summit. They were looking for the real business case for SSL and they found it, along with making key connections to committed suppliers. Building on the success of the Summit's 2008 introduction and 2009 continuation in NY/NJ, the 2010 New York Solid State Lighting Design Summit was a 2-day top-level networking event connecting lighting, facility and sustainability decision makers with quality LED luminaire manufacturers, module/light-engine providers and other enabling technologies.

The SSL Design Summit consists of two full days, including networking breaks and lunches and a "hands-on" evening Summit Showcase. Day 1 creates a focus on the answers lighting, sustainability and facilities decision makers are looking for. At the evening cocktail showcase, attendees see first hand some of the current technologies, luminaires and application solutions that are discussed during the day. Day 2 continues with topics primarily of interest to luminaire/lighting manufacturers and enabling technology providers.
