Litetronics International, Inc. of Bedford Park, Illinois, announced enhancements to its family of LED replacements for linear fluorescent lamps (TLEDs). Specifically, Litetronics improved the lumen per watt efficacy of it TLEDs.Litetronics says its newly enhanced line of TLEDs include replacements of T8 and T5 ballast-compatible products and both single- and double-ended T8 ballast bypass products. The company’s T8 ballast-compatible products come in lamps spanning 2-, 3-, and 4-feet, while its T8 ballast bypass products come in 2- and 4-foot single-ended models in addition to 4-foot double-ended versions.
However, the company’s new T5 ballast-compatible products only come in the 4-foot models. All of these improved efficiency products deliver between 122 and 140 lumens per watt. The enhanced TLED lamps feature color temperatures of 3500K, 4000K, and 5000K and boast a 50,000-hour life. The lamps also incorporate thermal fuse protection for added safety.
