Former deputy of the National Assembly (AN), William Barrientos, has released a statement on the legal process his son William Ernesto Barrientos is facing in the United States.

The former Julia Member of Parliament indicated that her son was at home and awaiting investigations to clarify the situation.
In the letter, he thanked people for watching over his family and praying for them.
He clarified to the media that he did not know the details of the criminal charges against his son and therefore could not make any statement on the same.
