All three Venezuelan nationals migrated to other South American countries before deciding to cross the border with the United States.
Two Venezuelan women have died trying to cross the Rio Grande to reach the United States.
Both the deceased were from Sucre municipality in Julia state. Both moved to Chile.
Later they decided to travel to America in search of better life opportunities.
However, they failed to achieve the American dream. While trying to cross the Rio Grande River, located between Mexico and the United States, they drowned. Girls family, aunt and niece.
It was unofficially known that their relatives had lost contact with them since July 18. Apart from that, as soon as the search for information about their whereabouts started, many messages and calls started coming in asking for “money” for them.
Finally, it was confirmed that their bodies were in the mortuary this Monday, SuresNoticia portal reported.
On the other hand, a 21-year-old man, identified as Jesús Enrique Carrillo Vergara, died this week while crossing the dangerous Rio Grande.
The Venezuelan, from Jajo, Trujillo state, disappeared on August 3 when he jumped into a tributary near Pietras Negras, not knowing how to swim.
Relatives indicated that on Sunday, friends who were with the youth informed them of the boy’s death.
