The White Sox-Guardians match has been postponed to April 19

Cleveland – Punxsutawney Phil should have warned us more Over six weeks of winter.

For the second day in a row, The Guardians and White Sox had to postpone the match on Tuesday night due to rain, snow, wind and cold temperatures. This time around, the competition will be shaped as a traditional double header on Wednesday, starting at 2:10 p.m. ET.

“Playing tonight, you start worrying about hurting someone or playing the game when you shouldn’t,” Guardians coach Terry Francona said. “Part of it was some [the ground] It might have been frozen, since if it thawed, with the wind that was going to blow, it would be very miserable. To the point where you start to worry about your comrades.”

Anyone with tickets for Tuesday’s originally scheduled contest will be able to exchange them for admission to one of five game options, including Wednesday’s double header. Fans who have already secured tickets for the Wednesday 6:10 p.m. game can attend both double-header matches and will have the same seat for both competitions. Fans who wish to exchange their tickets for another game must do so by June 28 at 5 PM via CLEGuardians.com/mytickets.

“We’ll have 27 potential rounds in 27 hours, which isn’t ideal,” Francona said. “But if you’re supposed to play, you play. If you’re not, then you don’t have to. I think everyone came to the same conclusion.”
