The father beat the daughter to death because she did not understand the music class

Authorities say an eight-year-old girl in Bogot has died after being severely beaten by her own father. The girl remained in the hospital overnight, but doctors were unable to save her life.

The events took place this Saturday in the vicinity of Quinta Ramos in San Cristobal. The victim was identified as Maria de Los Angeles Cruz, who was beaten by her father for not attending a music class.

“The father calls an ambulance, and the ambulance arrives and picks up the minor.

After the beating, the little girl lost consciousness and the same parents alerted the emergency service. He said the little girl had fallen when he grabbed her hair.

She was transferred to the San Rafael Clinic, where she died after several hours of care. The cause of death was said to be a serious head injury.
