Sofia Richie converts to Judaism before Elliot Gring’s wedding

She is ready to say, “I am a Jew.”

Sofia Richie has revealed that she converted to Judaism before her wedding to fiancé Elliot Grange.

“What a magical day,” she wrote on her Instagram Story Monday above a photo of herself signing a document written in Hebrew.

Richie, 24, thanked one of the hymns, Nathan Lam, for “helping” her throughout her “journey” to change her religion.

“It was one of the greatest experiences of my life. Today was that day!!!” She concluded by adding five Star of David emojis.

Lionel Richie’s daughter was raised in Christianity and even attended Oaks Christian School in Westlake Village, California for a few years.

Sophia has also openly discussed the importance of her faith. In 2016, she recalled watching a Bible study on “Loving Your Neighbor” and feeling the concept was “really cool and important.”

“First of all, you have to love yourself because that is the only way you will recover and be okay as an individual,” Complex said on time. “But it’s important to make other people feel loved because you never know what they’re going through.”

For his part, Graing was raised Jewish and became a Bar Mitzvah when he was younger.

He is the son of Lucien Grange, Chairman and CEO of Universal Music Group.

Elliott, who is also a music executive, proposed to Sophia in April 2022, one year after they made their relationship Instagram official.

“Forever not tall enough @elot,” the bride wrote on Instagram at the time, along with photos of her future husband getting down on one knee.

Sofia celebrated her bachelorette party in Paris with her sister Nicole Richie in October 2022.

The “Simple Life” alum, 41, also attended the model’s lavish wedding in February. Sofia’s mom, Diane Alexander, was there too, and even Elliot, 29, showed up.

Sophia began dating Elliott after she became involved with Matthew Morton, the son of restaurateur Peter Morton in October 2020.

Famously dated Scott Disick, who is also Jewish, for nearly three years.

Sofia and the ‘Kardashian’ star, 39, split in May 2020.
