Philadelphia – The Philadelphia Eagles remain the last undefeated NFL team as Week 10 draws to a close, yet they face a tough test with their first game of the season. The Washington leaders head to Lincoln Financial Field to avenge a 24-8 loss to the Eagles in Week 3, most notably nine sacks from Philadelphia and DeVonta Smith’s 169-yard finish.
Washington will have a different caller to signal for the match again as Taylor Heineke will start for a third time with the leaders. Heinicke has won four of his last five road games (and seven of his last 11 starts overall) heading into this showdown, but he will face the Eagles’ defense that ranks first in interceptions and first in fast food.
Jalen Hurts has a franchise record of 11 straight wins for the Eagles and has a 15 to 3 touchdown to interception ratio through the streak. In his first 27 games, Hurts has been linked with the second most rushing yards (1,382) among quarterbacks since 1950 – and has had six touchdowns in the year. The Eagles lead the NFL with 16 touchdowns.
