The next pair of Mythical Pokemon is ready to appear Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl!
Pokemon Company announce That Pitch-Back Pokémon Darkrai and Alpha Pokémon Arceus will be available to catch later today, March 15, when Software Update 1.3.0 arrives.
These two powerful and fearsome monsters (which don’t feel right to embodying darkness, well, Poké God, right?) have their own unique way of being possessed. If Pokemon trainers play the original version diamonds and pearlsA lot of this may sound familiar!
To catch the centaur-like Arceus, you’ll need Pokemon Legends: Arceus Save the file to your Switch and it should have completed all major tasks. You will also need to enter the Hall of Fame and be the proud owner of the National Dex in Brilliant Diamond or Shining Pearl. Then go back to your bedroom, where you can get Azure Flute. Take this flute to the top of Mount Coronet and play it in the Spear Pillar, where Arceus will appear and be ready for battle. Brings a lot of buckyballs.
While Arceus’ hunting method adds the requirements for Pokémon Legends, the dream-eating Darkrai is identical to its DS counterpart. You need to get the Membership Card, which you can get between New Moons, via the Mystery Gift feature. And just like Arceus, you’ll need to beat the Elite Four and the champion Sinnoh to enter the Hall of Fame and own the beautiful and adorable Pokédex.
You’ll be able to download the update at 1:00AM UTC / 9:00PM EST / 6:00PM PST, so you have time to fill your bag with full restorations and buckyballs, and prepare your squad.
