Arkansas had two players on last season’s roster who surpassed their height 6-7. Last week, the Razorbacks welcomed at least a trio of newcomers aged 6-9 in an effort to add height, sportsmanship and depth to the frontline. The Mitchell twins are capable edge-of-the-edge runners that add value like pick-up threats and finishers from the dunking spot, but they’ll also add to the defensive reputation the Hogs have built in recent seasons. Both are fifth in the rankings in terms of expected defensive impact, via EvanMiya.com.

The Mitchell family has become the latest addition to the Arkansas Show’s upcoming stellar talent pool that the very first forecasters are expecting to compete for a National title next season after back-to-back trips to the Elite Eight. They join fellow striker Travon Brasil (Missouri) as off-season commitments via the transfer portal.

The Razorbacks will also welcome the nation’s upcoming No. 2 freshman class that includes a five-star trio, No. 6 McDonald’s All-American Ranger Nick Smith Jr. (North Little Rock, Ark), No. 14 and No. 14 Ranger General Anthony Black (Duncanville, Texas). ) and striker No. 18 Jordan Walsh (Cedar Hill, Texas).
