AMD Radeon RX 7900XT is rumored to feature 20GB of GDDR6

AMD Radeon RX 7900XT is rumored to feature 20GB of GDDR6

The AMD RX 7900XT is rumored to feature 4GB more memory than the RX 6900XT

according to Wccftech Sources, the Radeon RX 7900XT RDNA3 GPU is said to have 20GB of VRAM. This isn’t the flagship model, though.

The AMD Radeon RX 7900 series will be announced in less than two weeks, which means that board partners should already have all the critical information about AMD’s next-generation GPUs. Wccftech, citing its sources, confirmed today that the RX 7900XT will pack 20GB of memory. This is actually not new information because the Navi 31 GPU was expected to have a 320-bit variant. However, this is the first time that a specific GPU model with this memory capacity has been mentioned.

The rumored RX 7900XT will feature 20GB of GDDR6 memory of an unknown speed along with a 320-bit bus. If for any reason AMD keeps its RDNA2 top speed of 18Gbps GDDR6, that will give 720Gbps of bandwidth, 144Gbps faster than the RX 6950XT. And that doesn’t even include the new Infinity Cache size, which is expected to be at least 96MB on the full chip. And speaking of the top SKU, I predicted that the RX 7950XT would feature 24GB of GDDR6 memory with a full 384-bit memory bus. This hasn’t been confirmed by anyone yet, though.

The RX 7900 series is believed to have a Navi 31 GPU with up to 12,288 Stream processors. This is AMD’s first consumer chip design for the Radeon series, featuring large graphics and memory dies in a single package. The shows posted above are fan-made visualizations by Wild_C Based on the latest leaks. The full Navi 3X (RDNA3) GPU specification has already been published by Angistronomywhich has had an impressive track record to date.

Recently, power supply maker Enermax included Up to four RX 7000 models along with the estimated power consumption of each model. This information has already been removed from the website, so it’s not clear if it’s inaccurate or that AMD simply “requested” that this information not be released publicly just yet.

AMD confirmed yesterday that it will be holding a live event dedicated to RDNA3 GPUs on November 3. Some of the partners of the board of directors until you confirm They are “ready,” which likely means that the custom cards are ready as well.
