Finnish skater Jon Salinen was involved in a frightening incident on Thursday while participating in the semi-pipe qualifier at the center. Winter Olympics In China.
It seemed that Salinin misjudged his tricks and hit a photographer who was filming near the bank.

“Sometimes, if I miss the take-off like I did there, that’s the worst outcome. I was lucky I didn’t fall on my head, and then maybe get a little pillow from the cam factor…Hopefully it’s good,” said Salinin after his first run.
“At the same time, I landed right on my wishbone and felt some movement, and heard some crackling there. I hope it’s not broken, but it’s really painful right now.”

Salinin also fell in his second round.
By the end of the first two qualifying rounds, Salinen was in the back. He scored 18 in the first round and 18.50 in the second round. Both scores were out of 100 possible points.

Four Americans qualified for the medal round – Aaron Plunke, Burke Irving, David Wise and Alex Ferreira. Blunck was in first place after the two races. Irving and Wise ranked third and fourth, respectively. Ferreira was seventh.
