The format goes as follows: No. 7 plays No. 8 and No. 9 plays No. 10. The winner of match 7-8 gets seeded No. 7, and the loser plays the winner of match 9-10. Seed number 8.
In other words, seeded #7 and #8 have two shots to win a single game, while seed #9 and #10 have no margin for error, and have to win twice in a row to enter. One loss, they are out.
Below is the schedule for each game played.
Tuesday 12 April
Wednesday 13th April
Friday 15th April
- East: Winner from Charlotte/Atlanta vs. Loser from Cleveland/Brooklyn, TBD (ESPN)
- West: Winner in San Antonio/New Orleans vs. Loser in Los Angeles/Minnesota, TBD (TNT)
