WAC Lighting introduced architectural LED luminaires in its Oculux Downlight series. According to WAC Lighting, Oculux Architectural LED luminaires to deliver superior performance and come in a simple but versatile package for applications in residential, hospitality, and commercial spaces.
New Oculux luminaires come with a simple, cost-effective design, the company says. A four-in-one housing allows the luminaire to employ all trim options including wallwash, adjustable, pinhole, and downlight, 0°-30°. All are also available in trimless versions with a die-cast Spackle frame. A wide range of optics is available for producing various light distributions including spot, flood, and narrow flood beams, depending on the lighting application.
Oculux Downlight for Interior and Exterior Applications
The IC-rated, airtight, and wet-location-listed downlight for both interior and exterior environments can be used in a multitude of applications. Oculux luminaires can dim with TRIAC and electronic low voltage and 0-10V dimmers on universal 120-277 volt systems.
The Oculux Dim-to-Warm function couples the intimate warmth of incandescent dimming with the performance of LED lights. Like incandescent light, it warms as it dims. The very warm color temperature 1800K incandescent light sets the mood with a dimmed and warm glow for a relaxing evening movie or dinner. The pure white 3000K light at a 95+ CRI enables you to see everything clearly and is ideal to complete necessary visual tasks.
These high performance 3.5” and 2” aperture downlights deliver up to 1,000 lumens. Diecast aluminum trims come in powder-coated White or glare-reducing Stealth Haze, and these trims accommodate ceiling thicknesses of ½-inch to 1 inch. The fixtures are available in four color temperatures: 2700K, 3000K, 3500K, or 4000K, and have rate lifetime of 50,000-plus hours.
