TIR Signs New Partner to Join lexel Consortium-Lucifer Lighting Company to Develop Products Based on lexel

Vancouver, British Columbia Canada- TIR Systems Ltd., announces that Lucifer Lighting Company of San Antonio, TX has signed a strategic development agreement to become the next member of TIR’s market-leading consortium of companies developing and marketing lighting products based on its award-winning lexel technology. Lucifer is widely recognized as a lighting innovator, having received numerous awards for outstanding product design with a focus on corporate, retail, restaurant and high end residential lighting applications. Gilbert Mathews, CEO of Lucifer states, “Our company has considerable experience developing products based on LEDs, which is why we understand the difficulties in developing an integrated system that will deliver value for warm white illumination, and interface with standard control packages. The lexel provides the ability to independently tune the color temperature and output of the light that our products are known for. We view LED technology as evolving and foresee a day when TIR technology will give us the means to project light in small fixture packages. This strategic development agreement represents a great fit for both our companies.”

“We are thrilled to have Lucifer Lighting on board to develop products based on lexel,” said Leonard Hordyk, President & CEO of TIR Systems Ltd. “Lucifer is exactly the type of company TIR has been targeting to take advantage of our technology because of their reputation for quality and focus on the key strategic markets that are adopting lexel today. The addition of Lucifer Lighting to our list of partners is further evidence of the momentum we have been building toward forming a consortium that will have the strength to establish the lexel as a standard for solid state lighting,” added Hordyk.
